Planning an outdoor portrait sesh? Here are a few tips to ensure gorgeous results:
You. This may be a no-brainer but, make sure your hair, makeup and clothing are on point. You have to put in the effort if you want rave worthy results.
Lighting. The time of day is very important. We call it golden hour for a reason. That hour before the sun sets creates the most GORGEOUS lighting Mother Nature could’ve ever gifted us. The possibilities are endless during that time. Sunrise is also a great time to do outdoor portraits. The softness of the light during these times creates the best shadows as the lights just kisses your skin.
Posing. The right pose can make a good portrait into a GREAT portrait. Don’t get too hung up on this part though. If you don’t feel comfortable posing in front of the camera (many people don’t), trust your photographer to guide you through it.
